14 different police agencies will be taking part in the St. Patrick’s Day DUI crackdown this weekend that will take place on both Friday, March 16th and Saturday March 17th. Sheriff’s Deputies, Police and CHP officers will have a “zero tolerance” response toward impaired drivers who fail to use a designated sober driver. All agencies will be deploying additional officers in overtime this weekend in order to crackdown on DUI offenders.
A DUI/Driver License Checkpoint is also scheduled in Encinitas on March 16th between 6:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
